Blake Shelton subtly claps back at trolls after ‘Minimum Wage outrage

Black Shelton is being criticized for his latest song, “Minimum Wage” after some fans called it “tone-deaf.” Brooks and Dunn member Ronnie Dunn came to Shelton’s defense.

Dunn posted a picture of himself alongside Shelton with the caption, "I’m putting my money on the common sense of the common man to call bs on the forces at work to keep this country divided."

Dunn continued saying how he was dirt poor before making it big in music and says he grew up with parents who worked minimum wage jobs.

Shelton’s song is about a man who feels rich due to the love of his girl even though he works a minimum wage job. "Losing my mind watching Blake Shelton, a man who has $100M, sing 'Your love is money, you make me feel rich on minimum wage' to close out 2020," one fan commented about the song.

How do you feel about Blake Shelton’s song, “Minimum Wage?” Do you feel it’s tone-deaf since so many people are out of work?
